[Coronary flow with intra-aortic balloon counterpulsation].

Figura 2 Con balón de contrapulsación intraaórtico. Paciente de 78 años al que en una ciruǵıa de revascularización coronaria se le realizó un by-pass de arteria mamaria interna izquierda a arteria coronaria descendente anterior (ACDA). Estas im agenes se han obtenido mediante eco-Doppler intraoperatoria y muestran el flujo en la ACDA. En la figura 1 se muestra el flujo en la ACDA sin apoyo del balón de contrapulsación intraaórtico (BIACP): se observa un buen flujo medio (23ml/min) y un ı́ndice de pulsatilidad (IP) inferior a 5 (2,3), lo que indica una buena permeabilidad del by-pass. En la figura 2 se recoge el flujo con apoyo del BIACP que, al aumentar la presión diastólica en la ráız aórtica, mejora el flujo coronario, lo que se traduce en un importante aumento en el flujo medio y tambi en en el IP (debido al aumento considerable del flujo m aximo a trav es de la arteria).
